THE Roger Webster Lion Cubs are back in action for the first time in six weeks when they travel to Mildenhall on Sunday (3pm).
With Joe Lawlor having called time on his racing career, at least for the time being, Joe Thompson has now been named captain of the Cubs.
It’s set to be a tough encounter at West Row as the Fen Tigers have strengthened up with the signing of Nathan Ablitt, who makes his debut following the closure of Eastbourne – whilst the Cubs have no option but to use rider-replacement for Lawlor.
